| Frank Cox has been a resident of Menorca since 1973. He studied art at Croydon Art College before the Second World War before joining the R.A.F. to fly Lancaster bombers in action between 1943 and 1945. After thewWar he remaines in the Royal Air Force for a number of years as an instructor on Meteor and Canberra jet fighters before eventually joining the fast expanding civil air industry as a Captain. He finally retired early from his flying carrer to go back to the world of art as a highly talented water-colour artist. He has exhibited in many galleries - Madrid, Henley and Menorca with great success. The yearly calenders of the S Uestra shop have been commissioned by the owners for 15 consecutive years and these paintings are on permanant display in the supermarket. Frank Cox is now virtually retired, but still will take the occasional commission. He lives in Punta Prima and can be contacted by telephone.
