It would appear that the link to reports concerning a case of tax evasion involving certain persons with positions of responsibility and influence in Menorca, has been blocked without prior warning or reasons being given.
This would indicate that the server has been contacted and requested to silence the writer who has exposed facts which a British government department finds exceedingly embarrasing having made accusations which it now cannot prove since they have no foundation..
However unpaletable these facts may be, the whole matter is now in the hands of the appropriate authorities and I am told by the writer of the article that the department concerned will be facing legal action in the Autumn in the United Kingdom for Justice and compensation.
If the department concerned is so anxious to block Public airing of the facts rather than contest them and produce proof, then it would seem that they have a great deal to hide.
One thing is certain that a person cannot be accused of crimes without proof and then attempts made to silence their reply to the accusations with everything being neatly placed into an official " box " never again to be questioned - which seem to be the aspirations sought in this case by the FCO in London.
