| FUTBOL - 7 PROPUESTA 2007 - CLIC AQUI Futbol - 7 is one of the most popular and well patronized sports currently played in Menorca - mainly young people between the ages of 16 - 35, 16 being the minimum age allowed and the over 35īs being considered as " Veteranos " and come into a class of their own. www.menorcainfo .net wants to put photographs of all the teams playing in the competition on the www and link them to their sponsering firmīs adverts to give the backers more publicity for their participation in what is now becoming an expensive public relations excercise invoving sums approaching several thousands of Euros to piut a team on the field. The website, headed by David Cox, wants to sponsor a team of youngsters who are unable to join - in due to their socio-economic circumstances and to help, through the sport, to re-habilitate some young offenders or marginalised kids, who may otherwise end their youth in detention centres. This project is to be put before the General Committee of governers of the sport on 11th March 2007, hopefully with positive results for all involved in the organization.
